my new book on organization change management

Await my new enlarged book on change management

this has extensively researched  inputs

the new methodology for implementing change in organizations

The case studies include the world's biggest scams and their mistakes
lessons on value-based leadership
These two examples prove the point that change is not an option and a hundred years of existence is no guarantee for survival for the next hundred years. The answer lies in Change and transformation.
Change management is a fascinating subject because it deals with rewriting and reshaping the destiny of not only organizations but also of people and their emotions. For anyone who has a responsibility to manage people,
and leaders who love to initiate the creative intervention, this is the subject to explore and learn to make life meaningful for many who come with dreams to be with the organization.
Change is a necessity and not an option
If you happened to be a senior a management team member, often you will hear in the executive committee meetings this statement “When the going is good, why we need to rock the boat?” whenever the topic of change comes up.
Many management leaders develop the “frog in the beaker” mentality.
It is said that a frog starts enjoying the warmth of the water if it is put in the beaker with water and slowly heated up to a boiling point, only to get cooked and die. Instead, if the beaker is heated up suddenly the same frog would jump out.
It is typical of companies to react to crises, like the frog and brush aside any external development. (Steuben and Kodak).
Business Organizations who maintain the successful run for a long time tend to behave like the frog with very few taking proactive steps to remain relevant to the market needs. This involves being sensitive and having effective leadership and the agility to be adaptive and flexible.
Shifting consumer tastes and preferences seem to be one big reason forcing organizations to be adaptive market needs. Even McDonald and Coke found their sales dropping year after year and found out that consumer preferences have been shifting. Coke was forced to change and diversify into bottled water and other drinks.
The second strong the cause is the massive advancement in information and communication technology and organizations are forced to fall in line to be efficient in not only manufacturing but in ensuring the  delivery to every single customer anywhere in the world. Amazon just focuses on speedy delivery while ensuring to keep fulfilment costs down.

The third is the fact that static organizations will not be able to sustain forever. Sooner or later they will feel the pressure to accelerate growth and to enable growth one has to find newer avenues for growth which mean change. Think of Steuben that died because it could not be sensitive to changing consumer needs. Digital technology totally replaced traditional photography which affected Kodak. If the Internet has revolutionized e-commerce and the way people buy goods and services; mobile technology further adds acceleration to the process of doing business globally.

The human body manages and maintains its ideal body temperature by fine-tuning the body heat with
external surroundings. Business entities are like living organisms and for survival need to constantly adjust and readjust strategies by monitoring the external data .What business intelligence and reporting methods are deployed will provide value.
Techniques and Methodologies like Scorecards, Dashboards, KPI, Metrics, OLAP, ad-hoc queries also deliver a retrospective analysis for fine-tuning the strategies.  Modern day data analytics are used in predicting the future though it sounds mystical. People who access internet for even day to day existence is now being tracked, monitored and the data is exploited by social media and then the experts in analytics.
